The AI tool is great for anyone who needs to understand key policies at the local council level, before diving into these lengthy documents.
To use our AI tool:
1. Go to your 'Control Centre' - Scroll to 'Strategic Land' - click 'Local planning authorities' - select your chosen council on the map - click 'ChatGPT for local plans -Try Searchland AI'.
2. Select which plan you would like to search by clicking 'Adopted' or 'Emerging'. You can now type your question into the search bar. Click 'Ask' for the answer to display below. For a new question, simply remove your current question and repeat the process.
You will also find the link to the local plan at the bottom right of this tab, which will open the document in another window.
⚠️ Notes: We always recommend you look at the local plan document after using our AI tool. At this time, our AI tool can't compare Adopted and Emerging documents, or compare between councils.
