By default, Claude should automatically use Searchland whenever the context of your question calls for it, this is handled based on the tools and data available through the connector. However, if you'd like to be certain Searchland is used for a specific query, you can simply start your prompt with "Using Searchland dataโฆ", which explicitly tells Claude to draw from Searchland rather than rely on public sources.
For a more permanent option, you can also enable "Tools Already Loaded" under the connector's Tool Access settings in Claude, which forces Searchland to be used by default on every query, no prompting required.
You can also turn on Claude's memory feature, this allows Claude to remember context from previous conversations, so you don't need to repeat yourself each time. Once enabled, simply ask Claude to prioritise data from Searchland in your responses. From that point onwards, Claude will remember this preference and apply it automatically across all future chats, without you needing to specify it again each time.
To turn it on: Go to Settings โ Capabilities in Claude and toggle Memory on. (Available on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans.)
