In this video, we’ll walk you through the process of creating planning alerts to monitor applications within a one kilometre radius of a specific title. After selecting your title, you'll access the planning applications tool and set the search to focus on the area around your title. I demonstrate how to create a new alert, where you can name it, choose the notification frequency, and select team members to notify. This alert will keep you updated on any new applications, such as local neighbor requests, that come in within that radius. I encourage you to follow along and set up your own alerts to stay informed.
Select Title
Open up planning tool and set ‘search around current title’
No filters and tick new units (want to select new units as it will kick out applications that could include a neighbour cutting down a tree).
This will now track any new applications that come in within a 1km radius, and it will also notify you when the status of an existing undecided application changes.
