How to Identify Lapse Planning in Searchland Application
Accessing Control Centre
Navigate to the control centre on the left-hand side of the application.
Open the planning applications tool.
Utilizing Advanced Filters
Access advanced filters.
Set the Location Planning Authority (LPA).
Filter by decision date to be on or before three years ago.
Specify the final decision as Approved.
Select application types as full or outline applications.
Refining Search Results
Review the reduced number of planning applications after applying filters.
Further filter by adding a specific number of dwellings to narrow down results.
Analyzing Applications
Review individual applications to check for any lapse planning.
Examine the progress on approved applications to see if any action has been taken on the site.
Example Application Analysis
Example: Demolition of a bungalow and associated outbuildings approved on August 17, 2021.
Use the tool to virtually inspect the site and verify if the planned dwellings have been constructed.
