General Area Search
Go to the search bar at the top of the page.
Type in the city or area you want to visit (e.g., Newcastle) to move the map view.
You can also search by specific address and title number.
This is a great way to perform a quick search, however, it isn't the best for limited search results within a particular tool, such as the planning tool. For that, the options below are perfect!
Confining Results to a Specific Area
Open a tool in the control centre.
A box will appear at the top of the map.
Click the down arrow view options and change from 'search as I move the map'.
Customising Search Areas
Click on 'draw custom search area' to create a custom shape to refine results.
This is helpful when wanting to exclude certain areas.
Searching Around a Specific Location
Select 'search around current title' and type in the desired radius
Click on a specific title.
Searching by Specific Planning Authorities or Counties
Type in the desired planning authority or county.
Select the area (e.g., Newcastle upon Tyne) to refine results.
